Daily Morning Devotion
DAY 1
Our God is available 24/7
Even though God is invisible to us, He is everywhere. David states, "Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I escape from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths (probably the grave), you are there. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost part of the sea, there also your hand leads me, and your right hand holds me, even if I say, 'Surely the darkness will cover me.' Even the night will be light for me. Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and light are both alike to You, because you made my inner parts, you covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise you, because You have made me in a fearful and wonderful way; your works are so wonderful and my soul knows it so well. " (Psalm 139:7-14)
God is always there even if we forget Him, He will never forget us. He is always available for us, "If we seek Him with all our heart” (Deuteronomy 4: 29). That is why the David said. "It is good for me to draw near to God" (Psalm 73:28). James also declared, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you" (James 4 :8). If we want to have a close relationship with God, then draw yourself near to Him. The intimate relationship with God is not possible without drawing yourself near to him. But drawing yourself near to Him is not enough; We must stick close to Him. We know Jesus' teaching in John 15 that He is the vine and we are the branches. The crucial role or Job of the branches is to stay or abide in the vine.
