What aim and vision truly represent in our life?

Aim is very essential in life. Is there any use, if you stand in a starting line until a race but you have no idea where to end or you enter in a boxing ring but instead of hitting your opponent, you are just beating the air? Paul writes in this verse, "I do not run aimlessly, nor do I box as through beating the wind" (1 Corinthians: 9: 26). We cannot be goalless or aimless Christians, the goal here can be understood as the sum total of goals and visions. Paul tells us, "I persist towards the goal for the reward of the upward call of God in Christ in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14). The Bible also tells us that where there is no vision, people perish, but happy is he who keeps the law. (Proverbs 29: 18 ). Aim helps us to take the special steps in order to achieve the ultimate vision. Today the immense majority of our population has no vision for their lives, their families, or their churches. What should vision truly represent for the Christian life? Vision is the ability to see the future achievement of God's personal plan for our life. Vision is discovering what God has created and called you to do and surrendering to it. Clear vision leads to peace, power and passion.

A good aim requires concentration, focus and determination. Nehemiah's vision was to build the walls of Jerusalem, but he also had plans to fulfill that vision (Nehemiah 2: 4-9). A spiritual athlete is also expected to have an aim in life. And to achieve this aim, we must have good concentration, focus and determination. Let us remind that our ultimate aim on this earth is to believe in Christ and then be with him for eternity. God will reveal more of His plan in the response to our obedience. Continue to pray for God's unique vision, be obedient and do not quit, certainly God will reveal His vision in his time and succeed your aim.
