O my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
O my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? "Here Jesus is in the very depths of the human situation, where it seems that God has forgotten and abandoned him. Jesus endured something that we can't imagine. He didn't know about his own sin. And almost everyone who loved him abandoned him. Jesus suffered terribly. He was forsaken by his Father who loved him, and by His disciples and it is also a sorrow over sin. For this is the love of the Father, and of his disciples. God is holy, and holiness cannot abide sin and cannot be mixed with sin. However, God placed Jesus to become sin for us and carried them to the cross. Christ felt forsaken not only by God but also from his close friends and stood alone when He needed them the most.
In our times of trouble, let us pray to God for His grace to bear it. Paul asks to remove the thorn from his life but God says to him, "My grace is sufficient for you." This world is full of sin; So we cannot be free from temptation. But we can ask God's grace and power to overcome it. For this, the Spirit of God must dwell within us. Sometimes because of our evil desires, lusts, actions and fears we betray Christ and abandon Him, we do not know Him or witness Him among people. But as a believer we should witness Christ in every circumstance of our lives. We must stand firm for our faith in Christ, even at the times when we are being persecuted and tormented.
