we are only pilgrims in this world
We all have houses whether they are big or small, luxuries or without amenities, but we love our home isn't it?
JOHN 14: 1-4
Jesus told his disciples that he would live with them little longer and that he would soon die. He also foretold Peter's denial. Even after this Jesus comforted his disciples by saying, "Let not your heart be troubled; for I will prepare a house for you, and when all things will be ready, I will come to take you to my Father's house." He encourages his disciples to believe in him as they have believed Father. Here Jesus explains and inspires that we should not lose heart when we are on this earth. This world is not our home; We should not pay too much attention to the worldly matters because the scriptures say that we are only pilgrims and strangers to this world. And one day we must have to return to our permanent home where everything will be available.
This world is not our home; We should not focus too much on worldly things because the scriptures say that we are only pilgrims and strangers. God has prepared an eternal place for us. An earthly home can be crowded, tired and easily destroyed. But the house which God has prepared for us is eternal and indestructible. People can close the door for us, but if we believe in Jesus, heaven will never close the door for us.
God bless you!!
