Be patient! Because Beautiful and Best thing is on the way.
Luke 1: 5-25
There once lived a man called Zechariah with his wife, Elizabeth. They were good people and were very happy together. They both were righteous before God, and they obeyed all the commands of the Lord. The thing which made them very sad was that they didn't have children.
I think they prayed a lot, we know it very well as being a couple obviously every couple prefers to have their own child. Even They wanted exactly the same but Unfortunately, Bible says that They were childless because Elizabeth was not able to conceive, and they both were very old too. In fact, There was no hope that the line indeed talks about. But in that situation God made impossible things into possible. God being good towards them as he loved this beautiful couple, one day he sent his angel named Gabriel to them. The angel told them that God would soon give them a son, and that they should name him “John”. And soon, a miracle happened! The couple were blessed by a beautiful and a wonderful baby.
We know it very well that John was the man who foretold the coming of Jesus the messiah. According to me if God had blessed them with a child earlier without their patience and faithfulness, it would not have been the same as they received the blessed and anointed child 'John' through their subsequent perseverance of patience and faithfulness.
If they didn't waited or trusted for the God’s perfect timing and best plans for them, Elizabeth would remain barren or would be blessed with ordinary or with mere child but they waited and remained faithful no matter what. Ultimately God rewarded them with the best Child.
Lessons: Sometimes God makes us wait for long or sometimes years or Decades because he doesn’t want to bless us with a mere blessings but with a best and beautiful blessings that we cannot even imagine. Therefore be patient! because Beautiful and Best thing is on the way.
