Our lives have a greater meaning

Our lives have a greater meaning

2 Corinthians 5: 17-20

We all make mistakes. We say things that we subsequently regret. We make decisions that we wish we could take back. And because we all make mistakes, we like to start over, to turn our backs on the past, to gaze ahead, to hope that things will be better this time. Starting again with new challenges, new experiences, and new chances is thrilling. Maybe that's why we all cherish the chance to rededicate our life to God. Something fascinating is said by Paul. As a result, anybody who believes in Christ is a new creation; the old has passed away or gone, and the new has come! It is all from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, not counting men's sins against them as he reconciled the world to himself in Christ. He has also given us the message of reconciliation.

When a person decides to devote and dedicate their lives to Jesus, Jesus begins a new "act of creation" in that person's life. They're not only rehabilitated , but they're recreated. From within, they transform into a whole different person. And they begin a new chapter in their lives. We become His ambassadors when we make the decision to dedicate ourselves completely to Christ and He begins the work of restoration and recreation within us. (vs.20). The message of reconciliation has been given to us. In fact, our lives have a greater meaning than simply making enough money to live comfortably.
