Submit your life to Jesus to get your best version

Submit your life to Jesus to get your best version

Matthew 16:24

Following Jesus was challenging and risky for the disciples. It brought uncertainty; It was the risk that drove the disciples out of their comfort zone. Becoming a faithful disciple and follower begins with dedication. True discipleship begins with denying ourselves and following his footsteps. I would rather choose to call myself follower instead believer because believers can believe simply by living inside their rooms but followers ought to get up and follow up Jesus’s footsteps no matter how difficult or good roads they have to deal with.

Note: Demons believe God as well as shudder.(James 2:19)

Today let’s decide - What you indeed want to be? - A mere believer who are only believing and living inside the room or A follower who always believes and follows his footsteps in their ups and downs?

We must understand that there is more involvement in the Christian's life style than being mere simple "accepting Jesus as Savior." You must leave some thing which are precious to you and deny yourself. Take your cross and leave some thing precious behind and follow Jesus. John did not simply accept Jesus as the Messiah. He dedicated his life to Jesus.

The pot cannot be beautiful or useful until and unless it completely surrenders itself into the potter's hand and take the shape whatever the potter gives. John even dedicated his life to Jesus and allowed his life to be redesigned. In the same way, Christ calls us to submit ourselves completely to him and to be a subject to him so that he can design us according to his plans and purpose. Accepting Christ as the savor is not enough, but we must submit ourselves to him to get our best version.

Are you willing to dedicate your life to him?
