Only in Jesus I found a true satisfaction
ECCLESIASTES 1:1-11
King Solomon is recognized as the wisest man on earth. He had everything in life; Wisdom, power, wealth, honor, prestige, even God's favor. He did all the pleasurable things that man can ever experience on earth. But at the end of his life, when he looked back at everything he had done, he saw that most of it seemed meaningless. Therefore, he wanted his readers to avoid such foolish pursuits which he had experienced in his former days. So he wrote, in vs. - 8. "Everything is senseless beyond description. the eye is not content with seeing, nor the ear content with hearing. In fact, during Solomon's reign, Israel was in a golden age, but he wanted people to understand that success and prosperity don't last long.
From the experience of King Solomon we can learn that one day all human achievements will gradually disappear; we must remember this thing in our mind that is to live wisely, Let's be wise by following his path because only with Word of God and his pursuit can bring true satisfaction and this is for eternal too. Let's now focus on his word and follow his footsteps in spite of being linger in the temporal stuffs which gives pleasure for a certain period but never content us, it's truly meaningless. King Solomon's experience teaches us a true and lasting meaning of life that we found only in God. Solomon finally realized how important it was to serve God in all other ways. He alone can fulfill our inner desire which will last forever. Jesus himself said, "For what does it benefits a man to gain the whole world and lose his own life?" Mark: 8: 36
Let me remind you all that only God can bring the inner peace and satisfaction which has no end and limit. Try him!
