God sees your availability not your ability

God sees your availability not your ability

We are impressed by the attitude of Caleb and Joshua when they reported that they had spied on the land of Canaan. When Moses sent twelve men to spy out the land of Canaan, the ten reported negatively, but Caleb and Joshua were the only two who were positive as well as believed in the Lord and had confident as they were available to jump into action in order to capture the land of Canaan. Although the others shouted impossible, they were ready to move forward, thus they were willing to take risk in their lives, they relied on God's promises (Numbers 14: 6-9). They were available for God to be used even if it would cost their lives.

In the eyes of the world we may be really ordinary, weak and foolish, but God prefers to make the ordinary into extraordinary (1 Corinthians 1:26). Someone has rightly said that God does not call the equipped, But He equips the called. It is not the ability but the availability which is the most crucial part for God. Therefore, the qualification to become His disciple is to be available to be used by God.

God is desperately searching for the person who contains not with ability but availability.
