The Choice is yours

The Choice is yours

(Daniel 3)

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had an alternative:
Whether they could worship false God or the image of Gold which was set up by king Nebuchadnezzar or be thrown into the blazing furnace. When  Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego addressed the king, they said "no matter what happens we are not going to worship your God." Nebuchadnezzar became furious with them and ordered furnace heated seven times hotter than before and commanded his strongest army to tie them up and throw them into the furnace. At that time they did not say that they were not afraid. Instead, they said that they knew their God who had the power to save them from the fire, even if he saved them or not. They were going to be true to their God. They put their faith and trust in God's hands and were finally saved from the fire. “The people out there saw that the fire didn’t not harmed their bodies, and their hair hadn’t scorched. Neither their clothes burned nor there was any smell of fire on them.”

Lessons: In any situations or circumstances, trust in God. Do not compromise your beliefs for any reason. Our trust in him should be strong enough, no matter what happens or no matter where the situation takes us. Believe in him, and choose the right thing or direction. If we began to learn to walk with him or trust him without any conditions then the same God who saved Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the blazing furnace is available for you today. Trust him!
