To go to Kalimpong from Bagdogra airport takes about 2 hours 45 minutes (75 kilometers). 


At Bagdogra airport, there are pre-paid taxi counters where you may find pre-paid taxis to Kalimpong. Small vehicles such as the Alto, Maruti Van, Wagon R, and others are available and can seat up to four people. Sumo, Jeep, and other big vehicles are examples. It has a maximum capacity of 8 people.
