A Huge Bag Of Worries
A Huge Bag Of Worries |
There are always things to be concerned about. The ignorant are concerned that they do not understand or know much; the clever are concerned that they know too much. The wealthy are afraid of losing their wealth; for the poor, fear is insufficient. Old people have chronic worry because they are confronted with death; on the other side young are confronted with the life's struggle. Anxiety will not extend your life, but it will shorten it. Anxiety is a gash in God's heart. "Will God not clothe you again, O foolish believers, if God wears the grass of the field as it is today, and tomorrow it will be tossed into the furnace?" Matthew 6:30. Anxiety stops blessings. If you seek around, you will find blessings. Anxiety causes you to miss out on today's blessings and rewards. Worry is an affront to God. Worry about whether you're living like a nonbeliever rather than a child of God. "These matters dominate the thinking of unbelievers," Jesus remarked in Matthew 6:32, "but your father In heaven understands all your requirements." Worry is the polar side of enthusiasm. "Without faith, none of us can please God," says Hebrews 11:6, "because whosoever comes to God must trust or believe that there is God, and God will bless those who seek him." "Take no thought," Jesus states 3 times in the Sermon on the Mount, which literally means "don't worry." Hurry causes concern, and worry is contagious — it spreads misery throughout the world, stealing the happiness of today. Anxiety deprives your power and happiness. It weakens us to pile yesterday's issues on top of today's concerns. You arrive tomorrow out of breathing because you're bearing a double load that God didn't intend for you all to carry today. Anxiety deprives you of your power and joy. It breaks us to heap yesterday's issues on top of today's problems. You arrive tomorrow out of breath from carrying a double load that God did not intend for you to carry today. As a result, Jesus stated in Matthew 6:34, "Don't be concerned about tomorrow; it will bring its own set of problems. Every day brings new challenges ", Always keep in mind that there have been two days about which you should not be concerned: yesterday and tomorrow. It is impossible to remain in the past. As well as you can't live in the future. You can only live in the present. Today is all you have. Worrying about tomorrow's difficulties causes you to miss out or lose today's gifts, and you can't tackle yesterday's issues using today's power. God will provide you with the power, wisdom, grace, as well as knowledge you require when tomorrow arrives. The Bible does not state this "Give us our quarterly bread on this day,". Matthew 6:11 says, "Give us our daily bread today." One day at a moment, God desires us to rely on Him.
