Day 18
The truth will set us free
![]() |
Acts 9: 19-25 |
After Saul converted into Paul, he stayed with the disciples in Damascus for a few days. He immediately preached about Jesus Christ in the Synagogues and surprised everyone who heard him because they all knew that he was persecuting Christians but all of a sudden he began to preach about Jesus as the Son of God. The Jews did not believe him completely and plotted to kill him. But he knew what they were planning to do, so the disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall into a large basket, and he ran away from that place. When Paul's life changed, he never stopped preaching about Christ. People began plotting to persecute and conspire to kill him, but he was more courageous in preaching that Jesus as the Christ.
The world may hate us today, even if we are the follower of Jesus Christ. Persecution can come in a big or small ways, directly or indirectly, but our job is to stand on the truth. And the truth will set us free.
Stay Blessed!
God Bless you!
