The story of who we really are!
An old woman had two large vessels on the side of a pole which she passed around her neck. One vessel had a crack on it while the other vessel was perfect and always distributed a full portion of water. At the end of the long walk from the stream to the house, the cracked vessel arrived only with half water. For two years it went on daily, the woman brought only one and a half jars of water. Of course, the best vessel was proud of its achievement. But the poor broken vessel was ashamed of its own imperfection that it could do only half of what the other vessel did. After two years of realizing it was a bitter failure, he talked to the woman in the stream one day. The old woman laughed and said, Did you notice that there are flowers in your path, but not in another side? Because I am always aware of your weaknesses, so I planted flower seeds in your path, and each day as we walked back, you watered them. For two years I have been able to choose these beautiful flowers to decorate my home. My home is beautiful because of you. If you didn’t watered the plants my home wouldn’t seem beautiful.
