Love is an action
Love is not merely an emotion. Love is an action. For Christians, following Jesus' teachings, surrendering to his will, and following his example are the best ways to demonstrate our love for him.
Prayer
Lord, I thank how you showed your love through Jesus. Jesus, we are grateful that you taught us to obey and love our Father by carrying out his commands and upholding his word. I shall deliberately surrender to your will today. Graciously take my praise for you in the manner of my deeds, words, as well as thoughts. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
