The Holy Spirit

 The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit was given to us when we became Christians (Acts 2:38; Titus 3:3-7). The Spirit dwells in us, transforming our bodies into temples (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) as well as blessing us in various ways (Romans 8). Due to the obvious Spirit's presence, we can indeed be a strong people even after attacked, rejected, or scorned. The fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23), as well as the love of the Spirit pours out into our hearts (Rom. 5:5), do not weaken ourselves. Nevertheless, the Holy Spirit's presence is a strong power that may help us to conquer sin as well as lead us to live a self-disciplined lives (Rom. 8:13).

Prayer

Thank you for the Holy Spirit's unending presence in my life, Lord. Please give me even more strength and courage as I confront the hardships of everyday life. My prayer in Jesus' name. Amen.
