The Lord's Supper

For Christians, the Lord's Supper is a precious event. Let us reflect on Jesus' great sacrifice to save us all from our sins. We also understand that when Christians unite to eat supper, we are the body of Christ, His bodily presence on earth (1 Corinthians 10:17). Anything that happens to one of us has an impact on the rest of the body. Let us think the other members of the body of Christ around us every time we share supper. Let us also praise Jesus for sacrificing his body and blood on the cross to save us. Also, let us commit to becoming Christ's presence in the world and doing his work.

Prayer

Thank you, Father, for Jesus' first incarnation, when he came into flesh and lived on Earth. Thanks to the Church, his second incarnation through his body.  Please guide me in valuing the other parts of our body. Please give me wisdom and courage, as we (our church) sincerely aspire to be His presence in the world. I am praying in Jesus' name. Amen .
